Bicycle cops directing protest traffic

A group of about 200 protesters broke off from the main protest route under the banner "Students for a Democratic Society." Police officers used pepper spray to halt the group at the intersection of 7th and Minnesota streets.
MPR's Michael Caputo sent in this picture through Twitter taken at the same spot. Here bicycle cops are creating a barricade to get the group back to the main route:
