If Monday was spruce-up day here in St. Paul, today looks to be the day that some serious security starts to fall into place.
The U.S. Postal Service is out picking up mailboxes from streets around downtown St. Paul ahead of the convention, presumably to keep them from being used for nefarious means.
St. Peter Street is also getting a sprucing up with these decorative security planters. They're running down the west side of the street, along the Travelers building. Presumably, this is where the no-drive zone will start.
