The town of Barnum, population about 600, has been 'completely evacuated' because of the flooding, the state Homeland Security department says.
The Northland's News Center site writes:
Town officials there say city's water source was not compromised due to flooding and is safe to use.The city is also asking that residents keep their sewer usage to a minimum.Dumpsters have been ordered and will be placed in the downtown area for clean-up use. The Barnum City Hall office will be moving to the Fire Hall for the time being.
