MN closes Aitkin, Pine, Carlton, St. Louis, Lake offices

The blizzard has closed non-essential state offices in Aitkin, Pine, Carlton, St. Louis and Lake counties, the state's budget commissioner says.
That doesn't include employees required by their agency to work during a weather emergency.
The office closures are in force through 6 p.m. today.
Due to a weather emergency, IRRRB & Mineland Reclamation offices are closed for the day. Giants Ridge will remain open to the public.
