A lot of writing going on the past few days and today on Minnesota Republicans and the leadership's struggle to right the ship. MPR's Capitol View blog reports:
Several Republican senators are starting to suggest that if they were in Sen. Amy Koch's position they would resign instead of bringing further attention to the scandal.More stories and opinions on the GOP, its present and future. The comments came just two days after senators admitted publicly that they confronted Koch about an inappropriate relationship with a Senate staffer.
Koch has not made any public statements since she announced she was resigning her leadership position on Thursday.
The scramble to see who will be the next majority leader is also starting behind the scenes. Dave Thompson has already told reporters that he's considering the job.
