Tax hikes nixed, Vikings stadium in doubt

Gov. Mark Dayton says votes are not there in the Legislature to let Ramsey County increase its sales tax for a Vikings football stadium without a public referendum. It puts all tax plans tied to the stadium in jeopardy and the future of a Vikings stadium into question.
