After dropping 2 of 3 to Baltimore at home, the Twins were swept in a 4 game set in Chicago, capped by today's come-from-ahead 7-5 loss. The question is: Where do they go from here?
Literally, the local squad heads to Cleveland with their 31-33 record for 3 against the Tribe. But, figuratively they look to be headed for a long season. Currently the starting rotation is in shambles and the once formidable bullpen is even worse.
Then there's the off-season acquisitions that were supposed to bolster the offense. None of them (Delmon Young, Mike Lamb or Brendan Harris) are getting done. Young and Lamb aren't even close.
I think this is going to be a long summer for the Twins, and with all of the positive press the Vikings are getting we may be getting far more training camp updates than even the most hardcore NFL fans can handle.
I hope I am wrong, but am I?

Honestly, the Twins are just regressing to where everyone thought they would be at the beginning of the season. We didn't expect to compete this year, we have a young team that needs to sort itself out and try to be ready to compete for a world series in 2010.
I think the season will have some good moments, but overall I dn't see us winning more than 75 games.
75, huh....I am still holding out some hope....if Delmon Young and Cuddy get going, Baker stays healthy and Liriano can find his groove, they could possibly put together a winning season....
