One last dance for Ponson?

Sidney Ponson enters tonight’s start in Tampa with an ugly stat line: 1-3, 8.44 ERA, .368 BAA and a WHIP of 2.06. Is his job on the line tonight? While I always like seeing the Twins win, it may be best in the long run for Ponson to get rocked early and released tomorrow. We all know this experiment won’t end well, so why not sooner rather than later?
In case you were wondering, down in Rochester, Kevin Slowey is 3-0 with a 1.05 ERA, Scott Baker is 2-0/1.57 and Matt Garza is 0-1/2.84.
