The Twins front office reaches out to Kirby Puckett.
Three ghosts visit Carl Pohlad.
Frank Viola gains selection into the team’s Hall of Fame.
The eerie Dome audio clips of Bob Casey are done away with.
Brad Radke is traded for a bat.
The White Sox open spring training with a rash of shoulder injuries after a winter spent patting themselves on the back.
Jason Kubel’s knee holds up in ‘06 like Joe Mauer’s did in ’05.
The huge, dirty white sheet that hangs the outfield upper deck of the Metrodome is cleaned or replaced.
Torii Hunter doesn’t whine when Jacque Jones signs with another team.
Paul Molitor changes his mind and becomes the team’s batting coach.
Bob Collins contributes to this blog in 2006.
My sentiments exactly.
Especially exact are 5,6,7,9, & 11.
Happy Holidays, Twins Fans!
Thanks Bob...my wife's favorite Indian was Vic Davilillo and I'm from Massachusetts, and people are glad when I don't show up also...
I hope the Twins take back Kirby and use him on the field, because what he's got you can't teach, just watch him work.
I was hoping for Nomar at Shortstop and Big Hurt for DH...they both may be much much cheaper than they earned last year.
Jason Kubel probably won't make it back this soon but we should know how long it will take by April and May.
Is Molitor a good coach? Seattle let him go, and you can't teach the way he hit...that was skill.
And the White Sheet will turn real brown by the end of the Dome...
