Break 'em up! That's three wins in a row. Too bad their next, oh, 16 games look pretty scary. Away at the Yankees for 3 games, away at Boston for 3 games, then back home for 4 against a hot Oakland team and 3 more against Boston. What's your prediction/hopes for where they will be after this fairly crucial stretch? I might consider 8 wins as a "rosy" outlook.
Well, they do have four more with Detroit first. I would say, however, that 8 of those 16 would be good. The brutal second half schedule has put a serious crimp in my post season expectations.
The Boston games could be interesting (Twins' good pitching vs. Boston's good bats, Twin's lousy bats vs. Boston's lousy pitchers -- who'll blink first?). But yeah, 8-for-16 sounds about right.
How many games do we play against the White Sox in the next couple of months? Like four dozen or something? *That* should be interesting. Or depressing, depending on how it goes.
they're going to beat the bo-sox? they can't beat the likes of kc & de-troilet. it's clearly a loosing battle. please...& mercifully...just shut-er down. bye, bye, wild card lead. sigh.
