It finally happened! Corky Miller got a hit!! A homerun, nonetheless!!!
The recently demoted catcher went yard in Rochester's 5-3 victory over Columbus last night. It was a rare highlight for the Cork man, who is hitting a mere .111 (1 for 9) for the Redwings after going 0 for 12 in his stint with the Twins.
My fascination with the light hitting catcher hit a new high (or low, depending on how you look at it), when I came across a Corky Miller bobblehead on ebay. I had to have it!
Now, with my wallet $20 lighter, Corky proudly sits on my book shelf donning his Chattanooga Lookouts (the Reds Triple A affiliate) uniform.
I can't believe you like this bum so much....must be the funny name or something. Please, for everyone's sake......no more Corky Miller stories!!!!
He reminds me of former Twin Marcus Jenson.....I bet you have his bobblehead too.....
A Marcus Jensen bobblehead!! Do you know where I can get one??
You can find Corky's and Marcus's bobblehead at www.icannothit.com.
