St. Paul police have outlined a route for protesters who want to march during the Republican National Convention.
Democrat John Edwards is endorsing
former rival Barack Obama, fresh signs of the party establishment
embracing the likely nominee even as Hillary Rodham Clinton refuses
to abandon her increasingly long-shot candidacy.
The 318-106 vote for the five-year bill came despite President
Bush's promised veto. He says the measure is too expensive and
gives too much money to wealthy farmers.
