Sam Choo is a producer and broadcast director for MPR News. He works with Kerri Miller and Tom Weber on the weekday talk and call-in shows, MPR News with Kerri Miller and MPR News with Tom Weber. He has fun amid the chaos of getting breaking news coverage on the radio. Sam has worked his way across all of MPR Newsís programs starting in 2005, as an intern for MPRís Morning Edition with Cathy Wurzer. More recently, Sam directed award-winning coverage on MPRís All Things Considered with Tom Crann, field produced coverage of the 2012 Democratic and Republican National Conventions, and recorded numerous memorable Aspen Ideas Festival speeches airing on MPR News Presents. Sam graduated from the School of Journalism and Mass Communications at the University of Minnesota.
