3rd District: Wendy Wilde

Wendy Wilde announced her candidacy for the 3rd District seat on April 29, 2006. Wilde, whose real name is Wendy Pareene, has worked for WCCO Radio and recently for Air America Minnesota. She described her motivation for running in a blog entry on her site, "Jim Ramstad has been rubber stamping George Bush and Tom Delay policies for the last several years. He voted to give oil companies a free pass to gouge consumers at the gas pumps. Then he voted for an energy plan that gives big oil even more tax cuts on top of the record profits the industry is enjoying at our expense."
