District: 30B
Party: DFL
Residence: Plainview, MN

Statement from the candidate:
I am running for State Representative of District 30B, because the people of our district need an advocate who will take action on the issues most important to the people. The people of District 30B are demanding affordable health care; a strong educational system that maintains small class sizes; an economy that affords people a job and a fair wage upon which to raise a family or retire; a budget that is balanced and does not go from a record surplus to a record deficit within a year or two; and an agricultural program that promotes and maintains the livestock farms in this region of our state! I will advocate for a strong public safety policy that will keep our families safe and provide resources needed for law enforcement. I will stand up and fight for healthier, cleaner air, lakes, rivers, prairies, forests, and public lands. I will work to ensure fiscal responsibility and reasonable tax levels. I will work to ensure that our veterans and service men and women are delivered the benefits they have been promised. I will fight for labor; for cleaner alternative sources of energy; for a transportation policy that addresses future needs and funding, without passing on the burden to the next generation.
