Sugar and corn syrup? Let's talk about taste.

Despite the title of this segment [MPR News: Sugar and corn syrup battle for tastebuds] only health issues were discussed, taste was never mentioned. Let's face it; soda is bad for you, no matter how you cut it.

I find sodas sweetened with corn syrup simply do not taste as good as sugar-sweetened sodas. Next time you're in Canada buy a soda and decide for yourself.

Mille Lacs netting much different from the past

I understand the tradition of Native American net fishing in Minnesota, but I think the fact is before Europeans came and started stocking huges amounts of walleye in many lakes the natives were mostly netting whitefish. [MPR News: Netting is family tradition at Lake Mille Lacs]

So, why do they now get to net Walleyes that are there largely as a result of taxpayer dollars and fishing license fees? They should be allowed to net all the white fish/rough fish they want but only a limit of walleye each day just like everyone else.
