The new anti-Americans. Michele Bachmann says of Barack Obama, "I'm very concerned that he may have anti-American views." [MPR News: Bachmann says Obama 'may' be anti-American] If this is true, then by association, his supporters must also hold anti-American views. They outrank John McCain's supporters at this point in time.
More so, the opinion of Rep. Michele Bachmann is reckless. She knows Senator Obama took an oath of allegiance just as she did to uphold the Constitution of the United States. So her public musings amount to serious charges. There is nothing in the record of Senator Obama's remarks, nothing in his associations, and nothing in his wife's record that would indicate anti-American views.
Bachmann's comments will come back to splatter her already unsteady record which has ricocheted from over-weening Bush support to McCain agreement on the past Republican record.
Her views have become meaningless.

Way to go, Rep. Bachmann!
A big "thank you" to Rep. Michele Bachmann for actually saying about Senator Obama what is on many Americans' minds - is he really playing for "our" team? (Our team being the American team!)
Once again, this national outrage over Bachmann's anti-American comments is not over just what she said about Obama, but this is a national outrage over Bachmann's comments calling for an investigation of Congress to search for anti-American views. This is the far greater threat of McCarthyism to our country!
