Time to for an energy budget

All these people proposing drastic measures to produce more energy, no matter the cost, seem to me to be missing the point. This energy crisis should be treated as a slap in the face. It should be a warning to us that our rate of consumption cannot continue as it does.

I consider it like a personal budget. If you live in a large home, drive a luxury automobile, purchase only name brand goods, and otherwise spend an excessive amount of money and then one day come to find out that you can no longer budget for these luxuries doesn't it make sense to start cutting some luxuries out?

But no! These people say just make more money, get a second job, join some ridiculous pyramid scheme, get a third job, start asking your in-laws for money. Whatever you do don't give up your luxuries! Oh no.

Wake up America, it's time for a little sacrifice and discipline.

Is insurance the problem?

There is one part of the healthcare system that heals no one, writes no prescriptions, and doesn't see any patients and that is the insurance industry. The incredibly profitable insurance industry. Is there a way to deliver healthcare without these multi-million dollar conglomerates?
