The Next Standard: The capital campaign for Minnesota Public Radio

"Having been to other markets, I really appreciate Minnesota Public Radio. I know how good it is."

Donor: Frederick Green, Minnesota Public Radio Board of Trustees and Toni D. Green

"Fred is a big motorcycle rider. He'll ride anywhere," says Toni Green. "I've covered most of the states and rode all the way around Lake Superior," adds Fred, a member of Minnesota Public Radio's board of directors. He listens to public radio along the way. Both Fred and Toni spend time on the road and agree that Minnesota Public Radio is something special-an unparalleled asset to the community. "Having been to other markets, I really appreciate Minnesota Public Radio. I know how good it is," says Toni. "And I appreciate the power of having separate stations for news and music." Fred concurs. Having listened to stations across the country, he's always happy to return home to the high-quality local programming offered by Minnesota Public Radio. Longtime members, Fred and Toni made it a point to contribute to The Next Standard — and to the future of public radio.
