We're happy to announce that Lynn G. of Hastings, MN won the Weezer Cruise Giveaway! She is taking her daughter with her on the cruise, and will give us updates from the ship as she's available.

Remember how cold January is in Minnesota? 13 degrees. Here's a way to escape winter's misery with a musical excursion like none other. From January 19-23, Weezer is going on a cruise from Miami to Cozumel and they're bringing 16 of their favorite bands aboard with them. The Current wants to send you and a friend to enjoy a trip with Weezer on the open seas.

How Do I Win?
Starting on Monday, October 31, 2011, we'll be giving away 2 qualifying prizes each weekday for 2 weeks. But we're doing it a little differently.
It goes something like this:
- • Listen to the Current
- • Our on-air host will mention which hour we'll be giving away the qualifying prize
- • Sometime during that hour, we'll post the Weezer Cruise icon to thecurrent.org (you'll need to refresh the page when it appears)
- • Listen to the password in the audio player next to the cruise icon
- • Be the first to call in with the correct password, you'll win an autographed edition of Hurley.
From the 20 winners, we'll draw one at random for the Grand Prize. Sound confusing? Read the official rules.
