The Current will broadcast live from the South By Southwest Music Festival and Conference (SXSW) March 15 and 16, 2007.

Hosted by Mary Lucia and Steve Seel, The Current will air live performances and interviews with established and emerging artists. Acts scheduled to appear include Andrew Bird (w/ Dosh), Sondre Lerche, Tom Morello, Money Mark, EL-P, RJD2, Antibalas, Brother Ali, Bonde Do Role, Fujiya & Miyagi and The Young Knives.
