HOW TO ENTER THE ABOVE GIVEAWAY: This 2008 REM Concert Ticket Giveaway has two parts: 1) Twin Cities Concert Ticket Giveaway: Entries for the Twin Cities Concert Ticket Giveaway can be made by calling 651-989-4893 between 3-7 pm May 19-22, 2008 according to rules announced on air during the entry period, or by filling out the online entry form between 12:01 AM, May 19, 2008 and 11:59 PM, May 22, 2008. 2) FlyAway Concert Ticket Giveaway: Every individual who is a winner of a Twin Cities Concert Ticket Giveaway is automatically entered in the FlyAway Concert Ticket Giveaway.

Both Giveaways: No contribution or purchase is necessary. Limit one entry and one Twin Cities Concert Ticket Giveaway prize per person. Multiple entries, if discovered, will be disqualified.

ELIGIBILITY: Anyone can enter the giveaway except persons who on or after September 1, 2007 were or are employees of American Public Media Group or its related organizations, including Minnesota Public Radio, their immediate family or persons living in the same household. The giveaway is open to any United States resident. Void where prohibited by law. Winners must be 13 years of age or older. FlyAway Concert Ticket winner under the age of 18 must travel with a guardian.

PRIZE: This 2008 REM Concert Ticket Giveaway has two prizes: 1) Twin Cities Concert Ticket Giveaway: Twenty (20) initial winners each will receive two (2) tickets to the REM concert held at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, MN, on Thursday, June 5, 2008 at 7 p.m. (Seat location: MPR's choice) Of those twenty (20) winners, ten (10) winners will be selected from the qualified call-in entries according to rules announced on air during the entry period, and ten (10) winners will come from a random drawing of qualified on-line entries. Total prize package retail value: $150.00. 2) FlyAway Concert Ticket Giveaway: One (1) FlyAway Concert Ticket winner will be randomly drawn from the twenty (20) Twin Cities Concert Ticket winners. In addition to the aforementioned REM Twin Cities Concert Ticket Giveaway prize, the FlyAway Concert Ticket winner will receive a FlyAway Concert Ticket trip to see REM Concert held at the Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, CO on Tuesday June 3, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. Airfare, hotel, tickets, and rental car stipend will be provided for two (2) people by vendors selected by Minnesota Public Radio. Air travel departs June 3, 2008 and returns June 4, 2008. Hotel accommodations provided for night of June 3, 2008. Minnesota Public Radio will contact the FlyAway Concert Ticket winner for travel arrangements and arrange any travel document delivery via the delivery service selected by Minnesota Public Radio. Approximate retail value: $1,500.

Minnesota Public Radio is not responsible for the quality of the prize or for any portion of the prize that is not available, including but not limited to the cancellation of any or all of the Minnesota or Colorado concert. Except as specifically described above, winners are responsible for any and all costs associated with using the prize, including but not limited to transportation to the Twin Cities Concert. Prize is nontransferable, is not good for cash, and cannot be exchanged for other merchandise. Subject to verification of eligibility and in the case of the FlyAway Concert Ticket winner, submission of a signed, completed IRS Form W-9, winners will receive the prize via the delivery service selected by Minnesota Public Radio. Delivery limited to addresses within the United States. Other delivery restrictions may apply.

SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS: Every eligible entry will be included in the 2008 REM Concert Ticket Giveaway.

Winners will be selected as follows: 1) Twin Cities Concert Ticket Giveaway: Winners will be selected from qualified call-in entries according to rules announced on air during the entry period. Winners from online entries will be selected by random drawing from all eligible entries. Five (5) back up winners will be selected by random drawing from all eligible entries. Winners will be drawn on May 23, 2008. 2) FlyAway Concert Ticket Giveaway: Winner will be selected by random drawing from all Twin Cities Concert Ticket Giveaway winners. Three (3) back up winners will be selected by random drawing from all eligible entries. Winners will be drawn on May 23, 2008.

Winners will be notified by telephone, certified mail or email. If Minnesota Public Radio is unable to reach a winner or if a winner is unable to accept the prize within 24 hours, then that unawarded prize will go to the first back up and subsequent back-ups thereof until the prize is awarded. The rules detailing giveaway eligibility and method of selecting winners are on file at Minnesota Public Radio. The chances of winning are dependent upon the number of eligible entries.

GENERAL: By participating in this Giveaway, participants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and that American Public Media Group and related organizations, their agents and employees have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind which result from use of the prize, or by participation in the contest. American Public Media Group or its related organizations may use winner's name and likeness for advertising, fundraising, promotional or publicity purposes without further compensation. Taxes and expenses as a result of winning this prize are the responsibility of the winner.
