Artistic Statement

I love to perform because singing classical music gives me the power to transform into someone else. It is an honor to me to pretend that I am singing a story, or snapshot of my character's emotions on the deepest level, for the very first time and making whatever character I am portraying unique to my interpretation of him. To feel my muscles working to make this kind of vocalization is a wonder to me every time I do it, and I want to continue to do so for as long as I can.
