Artistic Statement

I chose to perform the first two movements of David's Concertino for may reasons. The most predominant of those reasons is that it technically exemplifies the most difficult piece of music that I can currently play. I chose to play the first two movements because they are two completely different types of music. The first movement is quick and very energetic. This highlights my technical fundamentals. The second movement brings a completely different change of mood. It is slow and somber. This defines more of my abilities to interpret music and embellish it with dramatic changes in articulation and dynamics.
