The Walker Art Center reopens to this weekend. We'll talk about what it means to local arts and the national architecture scene. Plus, we take a closer look at two of the Minnesota Book Award nominees.

Walker Art Center
The Walker Art Center reopens to the public on Sunday. We'll talk to Thoams Fisher of the University of Minnesota about the architects and the new building itself. Plus, Walker archivist Jill Vetter tells us who Walker was and Chris Roberts looks into how the expanded Walker will affect the local arts scene.

A newly-expanded and renovated Walker Art Center in Minneapolis opens its doors to the public Friday. The new building not only adds space for more artwork, but it marks the beginning of a new era for the institution. Marianne Combs reports.
