TV's Fall Season and America's favorite art
A new Bachelor. A third CSI. Another fall TV season. We pore over the new schedule with John Rash, Adjunct Professor at the University of Minnesota's School of Journalism Mass Communication and Director of Broadcast Negotiations for Campbell Mithun. While some shows are good, are they art? We take your calls.
Arab Film Festival
For the second year, Intermedia Arts and Mizna present films dedicated to expressing the views, artistry and lives of the Arabian culture. The films were captured in Egypt, France, Lebanon and Palestine, among others. We talk with Kathryn Haddad, Executive Director of Mizna.
Billy Holloman
If it's Tuesday night at the Artists Quarter in St. Paul, It's "B-3 Organ Night." For the last nine years musician Billy Holloman has been exciting audiences with the rich, soulful growl of his Hammond B-3 organ. The mainly 20-something crowd that's packing the club on Tuesday nights will be excited to hear that Holloman is releasing a CD. Chris Roberts tells us all about "This is Organ Night."
