Walter Mondale on the role of the vice president
Former Vice President Walter Mondale had a different, and more elevated, role as vice president than did all of his predecessors. In a 2002 speech, he talks about the challenges of serving in the number two role. It was part of "50 Years: The Mondale Lectures on Public Service."12:00 p.m.
