Rich died Tuesday at her home in Santa Cruz, California, at the age of 82. She suffered from rheumatoid arthritis and macular degeneration.
• Bluegrass Legend Earl Scruggs Has Died
  The iconic banjo player, who played with Bill Monroe and Lester Flatt, developed a picking technique which defined the sound of bluegrass music. His "Foggy Mountain Breakdown" won two Grammy awards and made the banjo bluegrass' star instrument.
• Nationwide Strike Begins In Spain
  The strike is targeting the transportation sector, and it's possible that air travel will be shut down almost completely. Union members are protesting a major labor overhaul bill that's being pushed by the conservative government.
• EU Deal Expected To Lower Mobile Roaming Fees
  European officials have agreed to overhaul mobile roaming fees. That would allow consumers to pay less for calls, texts and mobile web services when traveling abroad. Consumer advocates are urging the EU to go further, and eliminate roaming fees altogether.

  In a "flash mob," hundreds of people invade a public space to do something in unison. But a "cash mob" adds a mission to that idea. All over the country, crowds of people are being organized on social media sites to invade mom-and-pop stores at a specific day and time to spend money locally.
• Nike Sues Reebok Over Jet's Tebow Jerseys
  The row over Tebow, comes after his recent trade to the New York Jets. Until the beginning of the month, Reebok was the licensed seller of official NFL gear. But Nike paid more than $1 billion for the rights to the new contract which goes into effect next month. Nike says Reebok should only be allowed to sell the old inventory when Tebow was with the Broncos.
