• Summit focuses on limiting nukes
  A summit involving more than 40 countries including China, India and Russia takes up the problem of keeping track of material that could be used to make a nuclear weapon. The summit in Washington also attempts to figure out how to keep countries that do not currently have nuclear weapons from producing them. Two of those countries, North Korea and Iran, are not at the summit. And Israel has decided to skip the summit, rather than face criticism for not signing the nonproliferation treaty.9:37 a.m.
