The Local Show re-broadcast our "Songs from Scratch" series, from beginning to end. We gave local acts Best Friends Forever, Jeremy Messersmith, and P.O.S. two weeks to write a song based on the Wizard of Oz. They also each had to incorporate four lines written by Adam Levy of the Honeydogs, who served as songwriting guide for the series. We also played the final songs from each artist, and spinning a few 'songs from scratch' submitted by listeners.

We gave local acts Best Friends Forever, Jeremy Messersmith, and P.O.S. two weeks to write a song based on the Wizard of Oz. They also each had to incorporate four lines written by Adam Levy of the Honeydogs, who served as songwriting guide for the series. It's the Mamas and the Papas meets My Bloody Valentine: first Communion Afterparty was live on the Local Show. The band played its trippy, psychedelic rock and shared its communal vibe. In addition, Chris Roberts spun the songs of such groups as Kruddler, Dark Field, Kill Sadie, Fat Kid Wednesdays, and Bella Koshka among others.

Dan was accompanied by a mini-orchestra of notable local musicians including JoAnna James, Dave Boquist, Peter Sands, and Janey Winterbauer.
