The annual migration to "South by Southwest" in Austin, Texas is happening this week. The Current's going to be there. So is a rather large contingent of Minnesota bands. This Sunday on the Local Show, Chris Roberts will devote the hour to the musicians who'll be representing Minnesota at South by Southwest, beginning with Chris's in-studio guest "The New Vintage." There will also be music from Coach Said Not To, Hockey Night, The Owls, Solid Gold, P.O.S and many more.

Marlee took some time off from music - more than a couple years - and she talked about why she left and why she decided to come back. The experimental jazz/rock/funk group Electropolis was the special guest on the Local Show. What's unique about Electropolis is how the musicians electronically alter their trumpets amd saxophones to create a new sound.
