Tim WalzTim Walz ANSWER OPTION: Propose funding for research and development in alternative and renewable energy resources.
CANDIDATE'S POSITION: Congressman Walz joined the Bipartisan Energy Working Group and helped develop a compromise energy bill, H.R. 6709, that will use nearly $1 trillion in new royalties from expanded drilling to finance renewable energy research and development. (More Info)
