Candidate Positions on Universal Health Care

CANDIDATE'S POSITION: A government takeover of our health care system is not the answer. We should build a system that emphasizes preventive health care as well as continued progress in curative treatments. More competition in health care is part of the solution. Portability of insurance with greater transparency of costs for patients and providers is also important. (More Info)

Tim WalzTim Walz ANSWER OPTION: I favor universal health care.
CANDIDATE'S POSITION: According to his voting record Walz has supported several bills in Congress that are in line with the universal health care platform. (More Info)
