L.A. Tries New Methods to Police Skid Row

Skid Row in Los Angeles is a square mile of shelters and missions helping thousands of homeless people. The Los Angeles Police Department's Central Division is headquartered right in the heart of Skid Row.

The department has made a special effort to police the area. But its efforts have drawn criticism from advocates for the homeless.
