Federal Intervention Fails to Solve Oaxaca Crisis

Mexico's southern state of Oaxaca remains mired in social crisis, with demonstrators demanding that the state's governor resign.

Last week federal police drove out protesters who had paralyzed the city of Oaxaca for the last five months. Demonstrators have retreated to a public university and show no sign of backing down.
