Former Envoy: Israel Lobby Not All-Powerful

Two scholars writing in Foreign Policy magazine say the Israel lobby has too much influence on U.S. foreign policy. Dennis Ross, a former envoy to the Middle East in the Clinton and first Bush White Houses, disputes this view. He says lobbying groups such as the American Israeli Public Affairs Committee, or AIPAC, are effective but do not have final say on U.S. foreign policy.
