Yahoo Names New CEO: Ex-PayPal President Thompson

Having searched for a new CEO since Carol Bartz was fired in September, the Internet search and advertising company announced Wednesday that it has found one. Scott Thompson — most recently president of online payment giant PayPal, now part of eBay — will take over at Yahoo.
