Murphy Oil Thrives Despite Rural Roots

Big oil companies tend to like big cities. ConocoPhillips is headquartered in Houston. BP: London. Chevron: the San Francisco Bay Area. But there's one oil giant that's based far off the beaten path. Murphy Oil is not an industry giant, but it runs about 1,000 filling stations outside Wal-Mart stores and is based in rural Arkansas.
