Persistent Uncertainty Keeps Employers From Hiring

The jobs report released Friday morning was a big disappointment. The nation's unemployment rate increased in November to 9.8 percent and employers added only 39 thousand jobs to payrolls. At a factory floor in New Hampshire, the owner weighs the possibility of hiring more workers.
