New York Teen Convicted In Hate Crime Death

A New York teenager has been convicted of manslaughter in the hate-crime killing of Ecuadorean immigrant Marcelo Lucero. Jeffrey Conroy was one of seven teenagers implicated in the stabbing death of Lucero, who was taunted with ethnic slurs. Prosecutors say the attack was part of the group's ongoing campaign of violence against Hispanics.
