Ted Stanley, NPR Benefactor, Dies At 85

Ted Stanley, a philanthropist who donated generously to environmental causes such as the Chesapeake Bay, died of a neurological disease Wednesday at 85. He and his wife, Jennifer, gave millions over the past three decades to organizations including NPR. Robert Siegel remembers his generosity, humility and good nature.
