India's Ruling Political Party Buys 'Slumdog' Theme

Some in India initially saw Slumdog Millionaire as an insult, because the movie highlights India's impoverished slumdwellers. After it won so many Academy Awards, that changed. India's leading political party has bought the rights to the film's theme song. Translated, the song's title "Jai Ho" means let there be victory. Not a bad theme song for politicians heading into a big general election.
