OFFICIAL RULES: 2007 MINNESOTA PUBLIC RADIO MINNESOTA STATE FAIR® PHOTO GIVEAWAY

HOW TO ENTER THE ABOVE GIVEAWAY: Entries for the giveaway can be made by submitting a 2007 Minnesota State Fair photo between Thursday, August 23, 2007 and 11:59 pm CT on Monday, September 3, 2007. Each photo submitted via the online submission form results in one chance to win the Featured Photo of the Day and one chance to win the Grand Prize. Entries with incomplete or false information will be disqualified. No limit to the number of entries per person. Entries must be received via the online submission form. Entries must be original. The photos must be your own, taken by you, and you must have all rights to the photos. Photos may be submitted by the owner of the photo only. Entries without applicable content or multiple entries of the same photo, if discovered, will be disqualified.

At Minnesota Public Radio (MPR)'s discretion, submissions may be used in any media for any purpose, including broadcast, cable, and satellite radio, podcasts, and the Internet. Submissions may be may be posted or used on American Public Media Group Web sites, or may be retained for future use. For more information about submissions, see THE FINE PRINT.

ELIGIBILITY: Anyone can enter the giveaway except persons who on or after December 15, 2006, were or are employees of American Public Media Group or its related organizations, their immediate family, or persons living in the same household. The giveaway is open to any United States resident age 13 or older. Void where prohibited by law.

PRIZES:
Featured Photo of the Day Prize: Twelve (12) winners will be selected by MPR for the Featured Photo of the Day. One Featured Photo of the Day winner will be selected by MPR staff each day between Friday August 24, 2007 and Tuesday, September 4, 2007. There are 12 chances to win. Submitters can win multiple times. Featured photos may be selected from all submitted photos. Each daily winner of the Featured Photo of the Day will receive 30 (thirty) postcards of that photo. Postcard prints will be sent (via USPS) to the winner by September 30, 2007.

Retail value of Featured Photo of the Day Prize (each postcard package prize): $27.50

Grand Prize: One (1) Grand Prize winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries. Grand prize winner will be drawn by Wednesday, September 5, 2007. The winner will receive two (2) tickets to the Saturday, October 6, 2007 live performance of A Prairie Home Companion® Performance takes place at The Fitzgerald Theater in downtown St. Paul, Minn at 4:45 p.m. CT. One Grand Prize winner will be drawn at random from all entries. Each photo submitted counts as one entry. Prize cannot be exchanged for cash or other Minnesota Public Radio materials. Prizes are non-transferable. Winner's tickets will be held under their name at the box office for will-call.

Retail value of Grand Prize: $92.00

SELECTION/DRAWING AND NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS:
Every eligible submission will be included in the giveaway. Winners will be notified by the e-mail address or telephone number included with the submission. If Minnesota Public Radio is unable to reach the drawing winner or the winner is unable to accept the prize within 3 business days, the unawarded prize will go to the first back-up and subsequent backups thereof until the prizes are awarded. The rules detailing giveaway eligibility and method of selecting and drawing winners are on file at Minnesota Public Radio. The chances of winning are dependent upon the number of eligible entries.

GENERAL:
Participants agree to the Official Rules, and that Minnesota Public Radio, American Public Media, American Public Radio Media Group, and related organizations, and their agents and employees will have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind resulting from their use of the prize or their participation in the drawing. Participants also agree to grant American Public Media, Minnesota Public Radio and Minnesota Monthly magazine the right to use their State Fair Photo submission, name, image, or other likeness without further compensation for advertising, fundraising or promotional purposes. Taxes and other expenses are the responsibility of the winner. All entries become the property of Minnesota Public Radio and may be published in print or electronic form. Entrants agree that their names may be used in association with their submissions. Entrants warrant that their submissions are their own original work and they have all rights to the submitted photo(s).
