The swiftly flattening planet

It takes a certain amount of audacity to write a book subtitled "A Brief History of the 21st Century." After all, the 21st Century has barely even begun. But New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman says a whole lot has happened in the last five years. In his new book "The World is Flat" Friedman argues that we have entered a whole new economic era.
