What will happen to Minnesotans' taxes?

Gov. Tim Pawlenty released his budget proposal on Tuesday, recommending increased education funding, eliminating health care subsidies for over 27,000 childless adults and seeking new revenue by building a metro area casino in partnership with Indian tribes. While the budget does not include a tax increase, Democrats claim the governor is just forcing local governments to raise property taxes to fill gaps in funding.
