Former Sen. Durenberger on the 9-11 Commission Report


The 9-11 Commission's final report has certainly gotten people talking. In its nearly 600 pages, the book recounts a series of missed opportunities in the Clinton and Bush administrations for the government to disrupt al-Qaida's Sept. 11 attack. It also outlines a series of proposal for reforming the way the government gathers and analyzes intelligence. But the commission's recommendations are just that, and now the debate over what to do with them moves to the Congress. What will ultimately come of the commission's 18-month investigation?
