The Sudan situation

Kofi Annan and Colin Powell this week delivered stern warnings to the Sudanese government, which they say is responsible for displacing more than a million people since 2003. It is believed that the death toll from Sudan's crackdown on two Darfur rebel groups that year now well exceeds 10,000.
