Regional Spotlight: Flutist, Jennifer Kennard

St. Paul, Minn. — Twin Cities flutist Jennifer Kennard was a featured artist in a recent Thursday Musical concert in Bloomington, Minn., where she gave the world premiere performance of a work for solo alto flute titled "Mulher Solitaria (Solitary Woman)" by Murray Gross.

Kennard also performed Lowell Liebermann's virtuoso Flute Sonata with pianist Mary Jo Gothmann. Before the performance, she spoke from the stage with Classical MPR's Steve Staruch.
