The 'Scottish Opera': Minnesota Opera's 'Macbeth'

St. Paul, Minn. — Minnesota Opera stages Giuseppe Verdi's take on Shakespeare, which stars Greer Grimsley as Macbeth and Brenda Harris as Lady Macbeth. The two opera stars see their infamous, murderous characters not as the usual operatic lovers, but rather the original power couple whose relationship is brought closer by a lust not for one another, but for pure power.

Grimsley and Harris, with Artistic Director Dale Johnson, stopped by Classical MPR to sing a sneak preview ahead of tomorrow's opening night.
