The 25 Best Film Scores

August 25, 2013

ST. PAUL, Minn. — All month long, we've been playing our favorite movie scores. We've also asked you to chime in with your favorite pieces from movies through a nomination and voting process that would make the Academy proud.

Now, during the day of August 26, 2013, we'll reveal your favorite movie scores. Starting at 7 a.m., we'll count down the top 25 movie scores as voted on by the Classical MPR audience, revealing a new piece about every half-hour. We'll skip 1-3 p.m. for Performance Today, and we'll make up the lost time with a top 5 countdown during Roll Credits at 7 p.m.
